Rupert and Angie Cox built Orchardleigh in Long Sutton in 1986 in the middle of an ancient cider orchard from which the property gets it's name. Set in nearly 2 acres of grounds each of the guest rooms look out onto open countryside and at certain times of the year guest will experience grazing sheep right outside the window. The month of May sees the beautiful apple blossom and later in the year the fruit on the trees is a real treat.
Orchardleigh is only a short 300m walk from the Village Shop, Devonshire Arms Hotel and the 500 year old Holy Trinity Church - with all 3 landmarks around the famous Village Green.
What better place to base yourself for your Bed & Breakfast break in the heart of Somerset. The beautiful village of Long Sutton is situated on the edge of the Somerset Levels near Langport and the ancient Capital of Wessex, Somerton and in close proximity to Glastonbury, Wells, Taunton and Yeovil.
Long Sutton is just 3 miles from the A303, 15 miles from the M5 (J25 or J23) and a 50 minute drive from Bristol Airport.
Long Sutton is also only a 45 minute drive from both the north coast featuring Weston Super Mare and Minehead and the south coast more famously known as The Jurassic Coast off Devon and Dorset or the beautiful city of Bath to the north.
Orchardleigh provides 1 king size room (which can be a twin) 1 standard double - both with en-suite facilities and 1 single room with a small double bed and adjacent bathroom.
